I think a neighbor traded in her GMC Envoy for an Audi A5 Convertible.

From what I saw this morning it's dark blue with a brown top and brown leather. I could be wrong though. More investigating will be done later.

It's the only German car on my street since at least 2008 when a neighbor traded in their A6 for a Trailblazer SS.

Also, another neighbor recently traded in their GMT900 Yukon for a Buick Enclave.

It's silver and I'm pretty sure fully loaded. These are the same people that own a Crew-Cab, Long-Bed, 3500 Silverado Duramax Dually LTZ.

So yes, I have new mechanical eye candy to look out the window for.

I'll give it to you, my aunt's '08 328i hasn't given her any unexpected problems. Nor has my girlfriend's dad's 158,000 mile '97 328i.

They're just expensive as hell to maintain.

my audi is from the early 2000's which is a very troubled time for them. it has 124K on it, and EVERYTHING works besides the auto up for the driver window

I don't like duallys. They look to wide. The wheels look stupid, and you can do pretty much everything with 4 wheels. Unless you're towing a 3 axle 5th wheel duallys have no real benefits.

Do you come from a different galaxy? German cars are the most common type of cars here, after respectively French, Japanese, Korean, Swedish and Italian cars. I don't really see American cars here, with the exception of those produced by European daughters of American companies (Opel and EU-Ford); I'd consider those German.

The closest thing to a "German" car on my street before this was my mom's Vue that's basically an Opel Antara.

Most of the cars on my street are American. 24 out of 31 cars, actually.

Five Japanese, One Korean, and now one German.
